August: My favourite things

22nd August 2018

No excuse. Whatsoever, for not being consistent in writing my personal blogs and keeping my website up to date. However, I honestly want to and will do better for you guys.

To start afresh as my gift to you, every month I will share some of my favourite things from podcasts, tv, books and anything I feel you will find useful and interesting!

Podcasts

Hollywood Unlocked

512

This is one of my greatest guilty pleasures, I absolutely love the creator and main host, Jason Lee and his co-hosts Melyssa Ford and Giovanni who talk about absolutely everything from sliding in the DMs, sex, celebrity gossip and interviews. I am a big fan of The Breakfast Club radio show but this podcast reminds me of the days when the tea was served piping hot and where the hosts can really say how it is with no holds barred. Plus, Jason makes me laugh so much with his personal stories this guy has literally had every freaking job in the planet and I respect his grind and support this platform.

Say your Mind

This podcast is an essential part of my Monday Morning flow where Kelechi Okafor gathers the world all the way together and just blasts all the madness and people who need to get cursed out! Kelechi is literally mine and so many of her fans spirit animal through her ability to translate all our emotions and giving us the virtual woo-sa we need to make it through another a week!

Nova Food

Nova Food is a destination that brings together some of London’s most exciting eateries. Two minutes from Victoria station, it’s a place for eclectic and inventive restaurant brands. Housing 17 restaurants including Hai Cenato, Shake Shack, Franco Manca, Aster and Timmy Green. Beautiful settings especially in the summer!

Event

Black British Travel Meet-up

I went to their all day summer party hosted by Facebook London HQ in August and this was a hilarious and fun event where I met like-minded people who love to travel alongside some games where people were taking off their wigs (I mean literally lol) to win amazing prizes such as first class flights to Venice and more!
